The Chapel

Most castles had their own chapels so the Lord and Lady could
worship in private.
The nearby town would usually have a cathedral or chapel, built
by the Lord or Lady for the serfs living there.
Many chapels had stained-glass windows, rose windows, painted
walls, gold crosses, and illuminations.
Most castles also had it's own priest, who would say the blessing
before meals, and perform weddings and other services.
